ART STUDENTS LEAGUE OF NEW YORK
“We represent a venerable name in the world of fine arts education, with scores of renowned artists among our alumni and faculty. Work with us to effectively communicate with our constituencies through a dynamic new Web site.”
Over the course of its 131-year history, the Art Students League of New York has become one of the preeminent fine arts education institutions, playing a central role in establishing the United States as the dynamic leader in the fine arts through its unique philosophy of education, values and culture. As part of an overall recasting of the League’s communications, which reflect recommendations from gabbegroup, the gabbegroup team spearheaded the development of a compelling new Web site for the League.
BRERA CAPITAL PARTNERS
“We are carving out a unique niche in the private equity business. Our Web site will be an important means to communicate our message to sophisticated management teams and investors.”
Brera was formed by noted Wall Street investment bankers to invest in promising businesses. The Web site we created grew out of marketing materials developed by gabbegroup.
CHICAGO BOARD BROKERAGE
“The Web site you develop for our new joint venture must work as our principal marketing tool in a highly competitive situation.”
CBB, a joint venture of the Chicago Board of Trade – the world’s largest securities exchange – and Prebon Yamane, was among the first in the financial services business to use the Web as a principal marketing means to launch a new business. CBB’s new trading system was widely acclaimed as a breakthrough innovation, but ultimately was withdrawn from the market due to legal complications.
FRONTERA RESOURCES CORPORATION
“Our shareholders and other interested parties are located all over the world. We want to broadcast our annual meeting over the Web and need your help!”
The gabbegroup team worked with Frontera to present several of its annual meetings – for participants onsite in Houston and around the world via Webcasts.
“This will be the first use of interactive technology for training in our company’s history. Help us to make it a showpiece.”
This project for one of the world’s leading global investment banks was completed when interactive technology was relatively unknown in the corporate world. We conceived, wrote, designed, programmed and set-up a classroom-based interactive training program. Our subsequent work included: conceiving, scripting and writing the firm’s first Web site; scripting and writing a proprietary client Web site that featured research information and tools for analyzing securities, and helping to develop two global Intranet sites.
INHEALTH: THE INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH TECHNOLOGY STUDIES
“The lack of objective research on the utilization, impact and value of medical technologies must be addressed if public policy and healthcare are to be aligned with the promise of these technologies. gabbegroup’s communication expertise is a core part of our mission of fulfilling the gap.”
InHealth (The Institute for Health Technology Studies) called on gabbegroup to help develop an online community where policymakers, academics, economists, industry leaders and others with an interest in medical technology innovation can come together to view the latest news and research and share ideas. Beginning with an overhaul of the design and content of the existing InHealth Web site, the gabbegroup Web team worked with development partners to establish the organization’s new Web portal and social media components including its first blog, Facebook page and an animated avatar based on the organization’s Executive Director.
JOHNSON & JOHNSON – CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY
“As part of our partnership to promote employee awareness of the philanthropic activities of Johnson & Johnson around the world, help us to design, write and launch a new global Intranet site that provides information that will guide and inspire our employees in their local philanthropic efforts.”
Many Johnson & Johnson employees are unaware that the company has one of the largest corporate philanthropic initiatives in the world. We designed, scripted and implemented a comprehensive employee Intranet site that provides information about what the company is doing, the impact on local communities and how employees can become involved.
JOHNSON & JOHNSON – SAFE DECISIONS
“We remain committed to eliminating accidents worldwide, and our SAFE DECISIONS FOR LIFE campaign is the centerpiece of our initiative to raise awareness about safety. Design a communications package that best disseminates campaign information in a format that can be adapted for use at our facilities globally.”
gabbegroup conceived, wrote, designed and produced a comprehensive, four-disc toolkit that contains all materials and background information for Johnson & Johnson operating units to implement the campaign locally. It contains an interactive CD-ROM, a DVD-ROM containing various images and print materials, and two DVD videos.
MCKINSEY & COMPANY
“Our first Marketing Practice Web site will have a dual purpose: to provide clients with easy, instant access to our marketing knowledge base, and to project an image of dynamic involvement in the E-economy.”
McKinsey, the preeminent management consulting firm, was moving vigorously to build awareness of its brand and capabilities using the Internet. As part of a broad-based public relations and marketing relationship between McKinsey and gabbegroup, gabbegroup helped to conceptualize and write the content for the firm’s Marketing Practice Web site.
NEW YORK CITY WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD
“Over the past three years, we have changed the landscape of workforce development in New York City through business-focused reform efforts rooted in economic development. Help us tell our dramatic turnaround story to policy makes and other audiences throughout the City and beyond.”
gabbegroup partnered with the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DOITT) to develop a comprehensive and exciting new Web site for the NYC Workforce Investment Board (www.nyc.gov/wib), developing the concept, design, content and navigation.
“We’ve held off on putting up a Web site, and now we have to move quickly. Help us to project our people-oriented, people-driven business in a technological medium.”
You may not know the Bienstock name, but you know the company’s clients – many of the most respected broadcast, cable and radio on-and-off-air talent. We created a Web site for Bienstock that captures the client-committed personality of this top talent agency and positions it at the forefront of the industry.
“We are the only company in our industry that doesn’t have a Web site. Help us work through the strategy and concepts for developing a site that will leapfrog the competition and give us an edge in building an E-commerce capability.”
We worked with OCD, a division of Johnson & Johnson, on developing a major Web site as part of a total repositioning program in the company. We helped to ensure that the site functions as an integrated part of the repositioning program and that it effectively “brands” OCD as the industry leader in blood transfusion and clinical diagnostics products. We also scripted major portions of the site.
“Give us a Web site and a complementary CD-ROM that highlight our industry leadership in using information technology.”
Through the imaginative, aggressive use of technology and communications, Prebon Yamane has emerged from among its competitors as a leading, global institutional broker. The Web site and CD-ROM we created for the firm were centerpiece elements in its global branding campaign.
ROCKEFELLER PHILANTHROPY ADVISORS
“Help us to revamp our Web site – from design to content – to better reflect our organization’s capabilities.”
As the PR agency of record for Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), gabbegroup oversees all the media relations and external branding efforts for the firm. A key element of its communications outreach is a strong Internet presence. We re-evaluated and reconceived RPA’s Web site (www.rockpa.org) to reflect the firm’s updated positioning and to better demonstrate its capabilities and breadth of experience in philanthropic advisory services.
UNITY INTERNATIONAL GROUP
“We’re known primarily as an electrical contractor. Our Web site needs to convey our ability to be a single source provider of sophisticated power, telecommunications and technology solutions.”
As part of a comprehensive marketing and branding program, gabbegroup conceptualized, designed and developed a turnkey global Web site for Unity International Group, one of the fastest-growing private companies in the New York Metro area. The new site was a key element in the launch of the company’s new identity and branding.
