As part of an overall recasting of the League’s communications, which reflect recommendations from gabbegroup, the gabbegroup team spearheaded the development of a compelling new Web site for the League.

CHICAGO BOARD BROKERAGE

CBB, a joint venture of the Chicago Board of Trade – the world’s largest securities exchange – and Prebon Yamane, was among the first in the financial services business to use the Web as a principal marketing means to launch a new business. CBB’s new trading system was widely acclaimed as a breakthrough innovation, but ultimately was withdrawn from the market due to legal complications.

This project for one of the world’s leading global investment banks was completed when interactive technology was relatively unknown in the corporate world. We conceived, wrote, designed, programmed and set-up a classroom-based interactive training program. Our subsequent work included: conceiving, scripting and writing the firm’s first Web site; scripting and writing a proprietary client Web site that featured research information and tools for analyzing securities, and helping to develop two global Intranet sites.

INHEALTH: THE INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH TECHNOLOGY STUDIES

InHealth (The Institute for Health Technology Studies) called on gabbegroup to help develop an online community where policymakers, academics, economists, industry leaders and others with an interest in medical technology innovation can come together to view the latest news and research and share ideas. Beginning with an overhaul of the design and content of the existing InHealth Web site, the gabbegroup Web team worked with development partners to establish the organization’s new Web portal and social media components including its first blog, Facebook page and an animated avatar based on the organization’s Executive Director.

Many Johnson & Johnson employees are unaware that the company has one of the largest corporate philanthropic initiatives in the world. We designed, scripted and implemented a comprehensive employee Intranet site that provides information about what the company is doing, the impact on local communities and how employees can become involved.

“We remain committed to eliminating accidents worldwide, and our SAFE DECISIONS FOR LIFE campaign is the centerpiece of our initiative to raise awareness about safety. Design a communications package that best disseminates campaign information in a format that can be adapted for use at our facilities globally.”

gabbegroup conceived, wrote, designed and produced a comprehensive, four-disc toolkit that contains all materials and background information for Johnson & Johnson operating units to implement the campaign locally. It contains an interactive CD-ROM, a DVD-ROM containing various images and print materials, and two DVD videos.

“Our first Marketing Practice Web site will have a dual purpose: to provide clients with easy, instant access to our marketing knowledge base, and to project an image of dynamic involvement in the E-economy.”

McKinsey, the preeminent management consulting firm, was moving vigorously to build awareness of its brand and capabilities using the Internet. As part of a broad-based public relations and marketing relationship between McKinsey and gabbegroup, gabbegroup helped to conceptualize and write the content for the firm’s Marketing Practice Web site.

We worked with OCD, a division of Johnson & Johnson, on developing a major Web site as part of a total repositioning program in the company. We helped to ensure that the site functions as an integrated part of the repositioning program and that it effectively “brands” OCD as the industry leader in blood transfusion and clinical diagnostics products. We also scripted major portions of the site.
